Seven miles to the west of Cambridge, Bourn is a village rich with history that dates back to Roman times You could say it has a real...Bourn Identity...!

At the bottom of this page you can find a map to the local area as well as some key information about local schools and facilities.

If you’re looking for fine dining, music, comedy, or a unique experience - then you’re in luck as Bourn can offer all that in one place: The Willow Tree. Comedy and music nights, seasonal menus and….dome dining and a TeePee! The pics are from their instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewillowtreebourn/

Or How about some award winning Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine? In that case you should head over to LalBagh Restaurant in Bourn to taste for yourself. This family run restaurant has established a proud reputation since opening in 2008.

As well as fine food, they offer a taster menu and a range of different beverages too.

You can also find a completely unique experience in Bourn if you make your way to Manor Farm. A range of shops and business are situated there and you could stop for a coffee before visiting the butchers, and then perhaps get your hair trimmed, or maybe try some archery with Wildly Curious. The Grand Barn on site is spectacular. Dating back over 700 years this incredibly space is now open for public use and can be hired for events ranging from parties, meetings, as well as hosting cinema screenings.

And who doesn’t like a Windmill? Bourn has an open-trestle post mill - one of only 7 left in the UK and designated an ancient monument. It currently needs support to be repaired. What a beauty it is. Click here for more info and to see how you can help.
